Larry McBurney served for 11 years with the Iowa Air National Guard (132d Fighter Wing) from 2003 to 2014 as a Weapons System Armament Technician (2W171).  He deployed twice to Balad Air Base, Iraq (2008 and 2009) and once to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan (2012) in support of Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom.  Larry joined VFW Post 9668 on 2019 and was elected as Third Year Trustee in 2022.  He is a Life member.
