Gordon served in the Air Force from 1987 to 1991. He was trained in Supply but was assigned to Maintenance Squadron as a liaison while stationed at Norton AFB. Served in Desert Shield/Storm at Mirage AFB. Joined VFW in 2021 as a Life member.
